Quality and Warranty Policy

It is the policy of Tendring pacific Limited to provide its customers with products and services that are suitable for their intended purposes, conform to agreed standards and are delivered in a timely manner. The provision of an effective maintenance and calibration service is an integral part of this policy. As part of its ongoing policy of continuous review and improvement the company reserves the right to make such changes and additions to its products or services as are necessary to maintain the stated objectives.

(1) Tendring pacific Limited warrants that it will at its option repair or replace products manufactured by its supplier in which, under proper use, defects appear within 12 months of the invoice date, or such other periods as may be indicated by Tendring pacific Limited for specific products or components from time to time. Defects due to wear and tear are specifically excluded. Consumable parts are specifically excluded.
(2) Returned products or parts to which a claim relates should be returned to Tendring pacific Limited suitably packed and carriage paid and accompanied by an advice note stating the original invoice number in respect of the products and the nature of the claimed defect.
(3) If at its option Tendring pacific Limited agrees to repair a product at the purchaser's premises, parts and labour only will be supplied free of charge during the warranty period. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to pay reasonable travel and living expenses for Tendring pacific Limited personnel whilst performing warranty repairs at the purchaser's premises. In the event that the parts only are supplied by Tendring pacific Limited free of charge for fitting via the purchaser or a non-approvedservice agent, the warranty extends only to new parts supplied.
(4) Any products or parts which are replaced by Tendring pacific Limited shall become the property of Tendring pacific limited.
(5) Tendring pacific Limited gives no warranty in respect of any claim for infringement of third party's right which arises out of compliance with purchaser's specification.
(6) Repairs of equipment by Tendring pacific Limited do not revive an otherwise expired warranty nor shall they extend the period of any warranty.
(7) Tendring pacific Limited reserves the right on behalf of its principals to make changes in design or construction of its products in line with its policy of continuous product improvement without incurring any obligation to make any changes whatsoever to products already supplied.
(8) Services or repairs performed during the warranty period by persons not employed by Tendring pacific Limited or its authorised service agent invalidate this warranty.
(9) Tendring pacific Limited accepts no responsibility for consequential loss or damage arising from the use of its products or services beyond their general conditions of sale.
(10) In the event of the original warranty period of the instrument having expired, replacement parts fitted during service or repair are warranted for a period of 3 months from the date of fitting.
(11) A products warranty is not transferable.
(12) This warranty shall be construed according to the laws of England and the buyer submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of England in connection with any dispute or proceedings arising out of this warranty.
