MAP Check 3

A smart way to control your MAP process. For real time, continuous monitoring of headspace O2 + CO2 in food packages as the products are being packed. For use on bagging and flow wrap packaging equipment. Includes online oxygen gas analyser (CO2 sensor available optionally), GasSave to optimize gas useage random, logs & displays actual gas consumption and interfaces with MAP Mix Provectus gas mixer.

With the MAP Check 3, the gas target you set is the gas dosage you get, removing the problem of operators using too much gas without realising the effect it has on production costs.

The MAP Check 3 increases your flexibility enabling you to combine monitoring of gas content on a vertical or horizontal flow packaging machine with real time control of package flushing via an enhanced GasSave function. For most manufacturers that translates into 20 – 50% decrease in gas consumption.

It also improves reliability and efficiency. Unlike off-line quality control, the on-line quality assurance of the MAP Check 3 means that every package is tested – far quicker and more efficiently than with manual testing. And if there is a problem, production stops automatically, helping to avoid recalls or the need to re-pack entire batches.

The MAP Check 3 replaces the MAP Check Combi II – PFC and when combined with the MAP Mix Provectus they together supersede the TGC-2.

Benefits

  • Saves money by enabling major gas savings from the optional GasSave function, or when paired with the MAP Mix Provectus gas mixer
  • Logs and displays actual gas consumption for easy traceability with GasSave function
  • Reduces labour and waste costs compared with manual testing
  • Avoids recalls / re-packaging by stopping packaging machine if the machine exceeds preset limits
  • Reduces work area CO2 levels to protect employees
  • Reduce waste & recalls, MAP Check 3 will automatically stop the packaging machine if the pack residual oxygen is out of tolerance.
  • New management information for better control of total gas consumed, pack residual oxygen and current gas flow
  • Get total control via a single touch screen when the MAP Mix Prefectus and the MAP Check 3 are linked together
  • Easy traceable evidence of pack residual oxygen content and gas consumption through data download
