Laboratory Disc Refiner
Bauer type disc refiner capable of refining 50lt at between 2-8% consistency. User adjustable distance between the discs of 0 - 9mm. Adjustable energy consumption. Soft start. Integrated control panel. For use in pulp and paper industry.
A laboratory Disc Refiner used for the laboratory refining of pulps for both Quality Control & R&D. Also used for small scale production refining.
Features
- 50 L capacity stainless steel reservoir ( with inspection door ) and works with a pulp consistency of between 2 – 8%
- Rugged design with 5.5kW (7.5 hp ), 1750 rpm IP55 drive motor
- System of linear adjustment of refining disc” gap from 0 – 9mm
- Bascule door with quick locking system gives easy access to refining chamber & refining discs.
- Control panel gives digital indication of power consumption (W) & the current (A).
3 types of interchangeable refining discs made of hard bronze with a diameter of 200mm are available – type 1 for short fibres, type 2 for long fibres and type 3 for general purpose refining.
Closed refining loop driven by refiner itself, has a lower collection point for refined pulp and a spreader cone in the reservoir”s upper inlet, ensuring all the pulp is refined homogenously while it is circulating.
Automatic soft start system offers high torque start & high revolution operation which enables the equipment to be started even when fully loaded.
