IGT AIC2-5 T2000 Universal Printability Tester

Extremely comprehensive IGT unit that is capable of performing all the IGT tests for Offset, Flexo and Grauvre inks. The IGT AIC2-5 is also suitable for assessing the printability of substrates including paper, board, plastic film, cellophane, laminate, metal.

The IGT AIC2-5 Printability Tester prints on a variety of materials including paper, board, plastic film, cellophane, laminate, metal.

Applications:
The test strips are suitable for many purposes:

  • measuring colour with colour measuring systems/ spectrophotometers, use in colour matching systems and visual appraisal
  • taking density measurements, including establishing tolerances and determination of coverage, scratch resistance, wear resistance, flexibility, adhesion and gloss, ink transfer (in g/m2), light fastness and resistance to chemicals
  • testing printing quality, picking, wet pick and wet repellence, roughness, print penetration, Heliotest, set-off, striking through, mottle, loose and weakly bound paper articles used in the printing ink, paper and board, print, metal, plastics and packaging, resin, lacquer, coatings and raw materials industries as well as in training centres and research institutes
