AE Inking Unit
IGT Standard ink distribution unit with two inking units on a common drive for distributing litho printing ink on to printing discs. Distribution rollers available for both conventional or UV offset and letterpress inks.
The IGT AE Inking Unit offers two inking stations with a common drive, making it possible to distribute two different oils or inks simultaneously.
Each arrangement features two anodised aluminium cylinders with an elastomeric top roller. An oscillating motion to the front cylinders and a 30 mm wide rubber coated distribution roller over the rear cylinder distribute the ink quickly and evenly over the inking surface.
The AE Inking Unit enables ink film thickness to be calculated accurately when known volumes of ink are applied.

Option:
The IGT ink pipette is required to apply ink to the top roller. The pipette significantly increases the accuracy of the ink application and thus the results of the tests. For even higher accuracy, the IGT ink pipette HR is available.
