TS12 Heat Sealer
We offer a wide range of test instruments to meet all of the different substrates classed as non-woven.
Often designed and produced to meet high specific and specialised requirements, it is important that these materials are produced consistently and accurately, especially as many non-wovens cannot be reworked and are not recycleable.
Micrometer
With relatively slow rates of production, waste is expensive, so we offer a full range of strength testing equipment as well as more specialised instruments including:
Handle-o-meter – for measuring the handle of the sheet (a combination of stiffness, softness and friction) with the Alfa Cutter ideal for cutting test pieces cleanly from non-woven sheets, an otherwise notoriously difficult process.
The suitability and appropriateness of potential materials can be tested with Burst Tester, Micrometers, Universal Materials Testers, while the PocketGoniometer is used for measuring the surface free energy of the non-woven surface and specifically for checking the effectiveness of hydrophobicity after specific additive treatments.
ATS 600 Absorption System
We offer the Permeometer and the Air Permeability Tester for off-line and Microperm 600 Smart (and Classic) for on-line and continuous monitoring of porosity, which is critical in many non-woven filter materials.
R&D and quality control of absorption and desorption capacity of a material can be readily monitored with the ATS 600 Absorption System with sealing capabilities efficiently monitored with the TS4 and TS12 Heat Sealer.
