PGX Pocketgoniometer
Used extensively for consumer products, it is vital that containers present the correct corporate colours or the brand and manufacturer and arriving on the retailer in prime condition.
To help ensure that high level of quality, we supply a range of colour proofers for printing directly onto cans which are also very useful in producing sample cans for presentations.
Using the PGX PocketGoniometer on the outside surface of the can (without the need for cutting and flattening) is a swift, reliable and easy way to check for coating & ink compatibility.
Physical integrity of packaging can be tested with the Torque Tester for Closures, Compression Tester, and the Shaker Vibramax 1100 for exploring suitability for transport.

Checking seal integrity and the understanding the incidence of leaks are as important as ensuring that the headspace gas is correct for Modified Atmospheric Packaging (MAP) products. The CheckMate 3 and
CheckMate II Can/Bottle Analyser help check for both oxygen and carbon dioxide levels – even in small containers – requiring only a minimum of 2cc of gas to make an accurate determination.
