Shaker Vibramax
Beverage shelf lives can be extended by the use of 100% nitrogen, or 100% carbon dioxide in carbonated products, where this is bubbled through the drinks, to reduce the dissolved oxygen content.
The shelf life achieved when using Modified Atmospheric Packaging (MAP) is extended but varies with the type of drink being packed – ranging from a few days for dairy products up to 2 years for beers.
